If you have the chance to bring the kids to Green Bay, Wisconsin for a quick day trip, do it! I had the opportunity to spend the beautiful summer day just with my five year old. Here are two of the places I’m sure he’d recommend over and over again:
Titletown – right in the heart of the action (Green Bay Packer’s stadium: Lambeau Field). Kids have the opportunity to play on a full-size football field, climb on all the activity areas, and run/roll on Arien’s Hill. Make sure to grab a delicious bite to eat in their cafe, or ice cream (in our case).
We are excited to go back in the winter, as they have an ice rink and you are able to sled down that large hill. If you want the video, you can see Beau trying to run and roll down it. It’s massive, and so much fun of free entertainment for little ones who have lots and lots of suppressed energy.
Bay Beach Amusement Park – $0.25 tickets, hard to beat that price! We had an absolute blast riding all the rides we could there. A must stop place for all ages: young and young at heart. Beau was a bit sad because he couldn’t ride the wooden rollercoaster: The Zippin’ Pippin’ because it wasn’t tall enough yet. But rest assured, he told me next summer he would be able to.
