Just a few miles south of Sheboygan, Wisconsin is Kohler-Andrae State Park. We made a quick pit stop to stretch our legs out at the beach. Hearing the waves from Lake Michigan was so welcoming to us.
Come to find out the water had been so high, it was hiding most of the actual beach. That didn’t stop him from playing in the sand and chasing birds for a bit. We look forward to going back with the tents for a family camping weekend under the stars, complete with a hike through the boardwalk sandhills.
Before we left Kohler-Andrae State Park, Beau saw some wind-surfers. Lake Michigan (during the winter months) is known for it’s surfing, if you can believe it or not. The waves and the wind were strong the day we visited so it was fun to watch them for a bit.
