September 2019 for the Wisconsin Family started with a trip down to Tennessee over Labor Day weekend, and was our only family adventure together unfortunately. There was a lot of “work” happening and not much free time to get away as we’d like, especially on the weekends. Although the little lady and I did get some hiking in during the week including: Gibraltar Rock State Natural Area in Lodi and also the Sculpture Park in Stevens Point.
Someone started full-time school, and we were all more than ready for it! We had more tears while he went to Pre-K for just a couple hours…so now we are pros right? We made sure to take advantage of the free days we had, which included check out some new local trails, including this one. I couldn’t help but take a step back and really enjoy these moments. So I created a video:
A highlight of the month was watching one of the last concerts of the summer on the village green in our hometown. One I actually had the privilege of capturing with my camera too! A rock concert (Trapt), it was the perfect ending to the concert series.
Weekends were packed with weddings, a family hometown one, one right on the Lake Winnebago, and even celebrated one under the stars on their parents property. Fall left far too quickly with everything we had going on.
